TERMS OF SUBMISSION

DEFINITIONS

"Artifact" refers to source code, object code, course notes, test plans or other information content.
"Us" and "we" refer to Testingeducation.org a project of Cem KanerÕs research lab at the Florida Institute of Technology.
"You" refers to the submitter of the artifact.

RIGHT TO LICENSE

1.You must submit only artifacts that you have the right to submit to us. That is, you must have the legal authority to grant us a license to publish the artifact and sublicense others to publish the artifact.

2.If you submit an artifact that you do not have the right to license, you agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless, and to indemnify others who download the artifact from this site and hold them harmless, from all losses, including legal expenses, arising out of good faith reliance on your representation that you have the right to license the artifact.

ASSIGNMENT AND COPYRIGHT

You assign to us a nonexclusive publication right and a right to sublicense. You do not assign to us the copyright in your work. You may publish your work or license it to others freely.

IRREVOCABLE GRANT OF RIGHTS

People will download artifacts from this site, use them in their courses, and modify them with the expectation that they may continue to use them. They must have an irrevocable right to use the artifact. Therefore, you grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, and fully sub-licensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display the artifact (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media or technology now known or later developed.

LIMITING DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS

You may include with your submission, as a conspicuous portion of the document you submit, a license agreement that specifically excludes or limits some types of copying or distribution. For example, you might choose to bar commercial redistribution of your material or you might wish to restrict distribution to a small group, such as professional educators.

If you do not include your own license, we will incorporate our Standard License into your document. If you do submit a license, we reserve the right to review it and at our sole discretion, to require changes as a condition of our publication of the materials.
